Frightful Facts Friday!

In honor of Halloween being just a few days away, I'm dedicating today's post to some scary, interesting facts. I hope it's not too scary! Enjoy :)

1) The average human body host over a million parasites. Ew.

2) By Halloween the world's population is predicted to reach 7 billion.

3) Sorority girls are more likely to have body issues and dysfunctional eating disorders than non-sorority girls.

4) If you try to suppress a sneeze, you can rupture a blood vessel in your head or neck and die.

5) Rats multiply so fast that in 18 months, 2 rats can have over 1 million descendents.

6) The soft plastic headphones used on airplanes create a warm, moist environment in the ear canal that is ideal for breeding bacteria. Wearing headphones for just an hour will increase the bacteria in your ear by 700 times.

7) Homely criminals get 50% longer jail sentences, on average, than good-looking criminals.
